Myinsaeng (à prononcer maï-een-seng) est l’association entre “my” (“ma” en anglais) et “insaeng” (“vie” en coréen).
Originaire de Guadeloupe, trouver ma propre définition de ce qu’est être Afrocaribéenne est un processus sans fin dans lequel l’art tient une place essentielle. Entre analyse sur la représentation audiovisuelle des Noirs et mes coups de coeur musicaux/littéraires/cinématographiques, je vous invite à découvrir mon univers où se mêlent afroculture et hallyu pour définir la femme que j’étais, que je suis et que je veux être. Myinsaeng (pronounced “my-een-seng) combines the English word “my” and the Korean word “insaeng” (meaning “life”).
I was born and raised in Guadeloupe. Finding my definition of what being Afrocaribean means is an everyday process in which art is essential. From analysis about audiovisual representations of Black people to my favorite songs/books/movies, let me introduce you to this world of mine where Afroculture and Hallyu meet to define the woman I used to be, the woman that I am aand the woman I want to be.
